Chrome’s default setting in Windows 8 is to open a Metro-style app if you have it set as your default browser. Even you are in a desktop mode when you click on Chrome, it’s open in Metro style. But if you you hate to metro style like me ,you need to disable it but how.
Click Chrome’s setting ( hamburger) button at the top right edge to open Chrome’s menu panel. Then, click on the ;
Relaunch Chrome on the desktop link.
